The KAPCIC Annual Golf Outing will take place at Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Course. Breakfast and check-in will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m., with staggered tee times starting just before 8:00 a.m. Golfers will play 18 holes across the North and West courses. Space is limited to 24 players. Golfers are encouraged to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs will be available if needed.

Severe Convective Storms (SCS) continue to plague insurance carriers with both high frequency and high severity as insured losses have climbed significantly over the last decade. Recent strains on profitability for many Midwest carriers have resulted in the need for a deeper understanding of SCS risk. This session will provide a holistic overview of the SCS landscape through providing some background knowledge on peril basics, recapping year-to-date activity, walking through the model landscape, and discussing strategies for assessing risk.
